Together into the Future: Training, Exchange, and E-Mobility at J.S. Logistics

The first event of the year traditionally took place at J.S. Logistics as part of our annual drivers’ meeting. This well-established event is held once a year in Budaörs and provides a valuable opportunity for exchange, training, and team spirit.

A Day for Our Drivers

On this day, all drivers of our company come together at one location along with the management and dispatch teams. In addition to personal discussions and organizational topics, the focus is primarily on training and health.

Our drivers had the opportunity to take part in various training sessions as well as to undergo a comprehensive medical examination.

E-Mobility You Can Experience

A key topic of this year’s drivers’ meeting was electromobility. As a forward-looking logistics company, J.S. Logistics is deeply engaged with sustainable drive technologies.

As part of the event, our colleagues participated in a special driving training course for electric trucks. They were able not only to gain theoretical knowledge, but also to experience, test, and sit in the cockpit of an electric truck firsthand — the MAN eTGX.

These practical experiences are a crucial factor in successfully and safely integrating new technologies into everyday work.

Focus on the MAN eTGX

At the heart of the electromobility training was the MAN eTGX — a fully electric truck developed specifically for demanding heavy-duty and long-distance transport operations. Depending on the configuration, the vehicle achieves a range of up to approximately 500 kilometers, making it attractive even for longer transport routes. This is made possible by a modular battery system with a total capacity of up to 480 kWh.

Another advantage is its high charging capacity, which enables fast recharging during breaks and supports seamless integration into existing route plans. In addition to its technical performance, the MAN eTGX impressed our drivers above all with its high level of driving comfort, modern cockpit, and quiet, emission-free operation. Direct interaction with the vehicle helped make electromobility tangible and provided a realistic impression of future requirements in everyday transport operations.

Looking Ahead: Five Electric Trucks Planned

J.S. Logistics is planning to put a total of five MAN eTGX electric trucks into operation:

  • 3 vehicles in Germany
  • 2 vehicles in Hungary

With this step, we are sending a clear signal for sustainable transport solutions and making targeted investments in a more environmentally friendly future for logistics.

Sustainability Starts with People

Our drivers are the heart of our company. Through targeted training, modern technology, and open exchange, we create the foundation for safe, efficient, and sustainable transport — today and tomorrow.
